Lessons
Piano Lessons
In your private piano lessons, you will learn healthy posture, efficient technique, confident music reading, and practical music theory. Lessons go beyond just memorizing notes; you will learn how music works, so you can actually understand what you’re playing, leading to better musicianship.
You will begin with strong musical basics like note reading and rhythm, and as you progress, lessons expand into a variety of styles and genres based on your interests and goals, including classical, jazz, pop, and accompaniment. As you advance, you will learn to recognize patterns, chords, and musical structure, helping you to become an independent, thoughtful musician who feels confident learning and playing new music on your own.
Voice Lessons
In private voice lessons, students learn healthy vocal technique, proper breathing, clear diction, and confident vocal production. Lessons focus on understanding how the voice works—helping students sing with intention, consistency, and vocal safety rather than relying on strain or imitation.
Students begin by building strong foundational skills, including breath support, vowel shaping, and range development, and as they progress, lessons expand into a variety of styles and genres based on the student’s interests, such as musical theatre, contemporary, pop, and classical voice. Acting, storytelling, and performance skills are also integrated into lessons, helping students connect emotionally to their music and communicate confidently on stage. Advancing students learn to apply technique directly to their repertoire, allowing them to sing with confidence, expression, and long-term vocal health.
