She holds a Bachelor of Music, Vocal Emphasis from Harding University, where she studied under Dr. Susan Shirel and Dr. Scott Carrell. While at Harding, she toured internationally with elite vocal ensembles, presented multiple full-length solo recitals, and performed in musical productions including Shrek the Musical, Footloose, and The Pirates of Penzance. Hannah has earned recognition in several NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) competitions. She has won piano performance awards, accompanied choirs and soloists extensively, and performed in a select choir at Lincoln Center under Grammy-winning composer Eric Whitacre.
Hannah began her teaching career at the Searcy Community School of Music before joining the faculty of The Dallas School of Music, where she taught for six years. She later opened her own private studio, which has grown into a thriving program serving more than forty weekly students both in person and online across the country. She has served on the board of the Dallas Music Teacher’s Association, and has been a member of the Dallas Symphony Chorus.
As a piano instructor, Hannah draws on over two decades of classical training and collaborative experience. She has accompanied choirs, musical theatre productions, recitals, auditions, and community performances, and she has taught students ranging from young beginners to advanced adults. Her approach emphasizes strong foundational technique, musical understanding, and the ability to turn abstract concepts into clear, accessible steps. Her piano students have been successful in theory tests and competitions, as well as school performances and personal artistic goals.
As a voice teacher and musical theatre coach, Hannah has guided students into top-performing arts programs including Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, Oklahoma City University, Otterbein University, Chapman University, DePaul University, George Washington University, and NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Her students regularly perform in DFW’s pre-professional and professional theaters such as North Texas Performing Arts, Dallas Children’s Theater, Bright Lights Theatre, Firehouse Theatre, and Stagedoor, and gain acceptance into audition-only intensives including Casa Mañana. Her students regularly earn lead roles in school, community, and professional musical productions.
Across both piano and voice, Hannah is known for her warm teaching style, technical clarity, and deep understanding of how to support a student’s confidence and expression. She blends healthy, sustainable technique with musicality, storytelling, and emotional awareness, creating a space where students of all ages and backgrounds can grow, take risks, and discover their artistic identity. She believes music, whether through singing or playin, is one of the most life-giving and transformative forms of expression, and she is committed to helping each student experience that joy.
